ABOUT THE ARTIST
Luisa Ardila was born in Bogota. She graduated from Beaux-Arts of Marseille with the jury’s congratulations and received the award of Prix François Bret, as well as a focus during the contemporary art fair Art’O Rama. In 2012, she received a scholarship to carry out an academic exchange between the National University of Colombia, in Bogota, where she studied Industrial Design, and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne in Plastic Arts. After studying for two years in Paris, she moved to Marseille to attend the Beaux-Arts. Today she lives and works there. The scenes in her series of portraits are outdoor scenes that emerge from her urban and rural journeys.
