Massalìa

 

Antipode Gallery is partnering with Hangar Belle de Mai, which hosted Massalìa exhibition from October 22 till 28, 2020 in Marseille. We are happy to offer a selection of artworks presented by 10 artists who are part of a new generation of talents inspired by Marseille city’s contrasts: Luisa Ardila, Delphine Dénéréaz, Léna Durr, Basile Ghosn, Florent Groc, Charlotte Lapalus, Pierre Pauselli, Nicolas Pesquier, Nicolas Poillot, Lounseny Soumah.

All profits are divided between the artists and 3 local nonprofits that help children in need :

  • Autour de l’enfant, whose mission in Africa is to build health centers to save women and children. In Marseille, they are responsible for informing parents and training doctors on all the pediatric pathologies.

  • Board Spirit Marseille, labeled French Skateboard School, which aims to promote urban culture and board sports in Marseille but also organizes courses, workshops and activities for young people.

  • Maison pour tous - Centre social Belle de Mai, which invests in all fields of action likely to allow everyone to find their place in the community: socio-cultural, cultural and artistic activities, associative development, environment and consumer education, training of community workers, fight against discrimination.
