ABOUT THE ARTIST
Petra Schott is a painter from Germany. Through her semi-abstracted compositions, she draws the viewer’s attention to our own internal questions, as well as on moments of vagueness, wonder, and the contrasts that pass too quickly in everyday life. She uses egg tempera and color pigments, or oils on canvas.
In this artwork, which is painted in delicate colors, we can see two people close together. The colors connect them, but a space remains between them: Mind the gap!
